May Brings Momentum with Andrew Blevins Agency in Rockford, IL

Hello May! Around Northern Illinois, this month always brings a fresh rhythm. The days are longer, Rockford parks are filling up, and you’ll see families heading out for road trips, backyard projects, and local events all across town. May is packed with meaningful moments like Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, and even National Moving Month, which makes it one of the busiest times of year for life updates, new homes, and time on the road. It’s a natural point in the year to revisit auto insurance, car insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, and life insurance as everything around us starts picking up speed again.

📅 May Insurance Fun Fact: May consistently sees a spike in relocations, home purchases, and new drivers on the road across Illinois. With more travel during Memorial Day weekend and more lease turnovers happening, conversations around renters insurance, home insurance, auto insurance, car insurance, and especially life insurance tend to rise as families step into new routines and milestones.

Get to Know Me — Your Rockford, Illinois Local Insurance Agent 👋

I’m Andrew Blevins, and Rockford has always been home. Northern Illinois isn’t just where I work, it’s where I grew up, where my family is, and where so many strong connections have been built over time. Insurance has always been part of my story. My dad spent over 25 years having real conversations with families about insurance, and I saw early on how important it was to be someone people could count on through life’s biggest moments.

After graduating from Illinois State University, I opened my State Farm agency here in Rockford with a simple goal: to be a local insurance agent people feel comfortable talking to. I enjoy keeping things clear, easy to follow, and real.

Outside of the office, I’m usually spending time with my wife Samantha and our dogs, Pippin and Jack 🐶. Being part of this community means everything to me, and I truly enjoy connecting with families, homeowners, renters, and small business owners throughout Winnebago County.

Serving Rockford and Northern Illinois Communities 💚

Rockford has a strong, connected community, and staying involved locally is something I genuinely value. I stay active with the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce and enjoy supporting local events, spring festivals, and small businesses that bring energy to the area this time of year.

From Rockford to Loves Park, Belvidere, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Rockton, Cherry Valley, and South Beloit, I enjoy building long-term relationships with people across Northern Illinois. Being named to the Chamber’s “40 Under 40” in 2025 was a meaningful moment that reflects the people and community around me.

For me, being a local insurance agent is about conversations, relationships, and being present through all the seasons of life, not just the big ones, but the everyday ones too.

Auto Insurance & Car Insurance in Rockford, Illinois 🚗

May brings the start of road trip season, weekend drives, and more time spent commuting in and around Rockford. With more drivers on the road, it’s common to revisit auto insurance and car insurance this time of year.

I often connect with drivers searching for car insurance in Rockford IL, comparing auto insurance for new cars, looking into multi-car auto insurance options, or switching car insurance providers after relocating. Whether it’s daily commuting, summer travel prep, or exploring options for better car insurance in Northern Illinois, May is a popular time to take a closer look at auto insurance and car insurance details as driving habits shift.

Home Insurance for Rockford, IL Homeowners 🏡

May is one of the most active months in the Illinois housing market. With more closings, renovations, and moves happening, home insurance becomes part of the conversation for many homeowners across Rockford and surrounding areas.

Homeowners often revisit home insurance when buying a house in Rockford IL, refinancing, updating properties, or moving into neighborhoods like Loves Park or Belvidere. From first-time buyers to long-time homeowners making upgrades, May brings steady activity around home insurance as homes change hands and projects get underway.

Renters Insurance for Apartments and Rental Homes 🏠

With May being right in the middle of peak moving season, renters insurance is a big topic across Rockford. Apartments, townhomes, and rental houses all see turnover this time of year, especially with leases starting and ending around early summer.

Whether someone is moving into their first apartment in Rockford, relocating for work, or searching for renters insurance near Rockford IL, May tends to bring fresh conversations. Renters insurance often comes up when signing leases, moving into new spaces, or simply getting settled into a new routine.

Life Insurance for Families, Couples, and Growing Households ❤️

May has a way of highlighting life’s biggest moments, celebrating moms on Mother’s Day, honoring loved ones on Memorial Day, and marking new beginnings for families across Rockford. Because of that, life insurance becomes an important part of many conversations this time of year.

I regularly talk with families exploring life insurance in Illinois, couples looking into life insurance for newlyweds, and parents searching for life insurance for young families or children. There’s also growing interest in life insurance options that can be set up quickly, especially for those starting new chapters, buying homes, or expanding their families. Whether it’s first-time life insurance conversations or revisiting existing life insurance policies, May brings a natural focus to these discussions.

May Is a Season of Movement and Milestones 🌼

There’s something about May that feels active and full of momentum. From graduations and relocations to road trips and home projects, it’s a time when life really starts moving again across Rockford and Northern Illinois.

With all of that movement, many families are revisiting auto insurance, car insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, and life insurance as things evolve. It’s a season filled with change, energy, and meaningful moments, and I’m grateful to be part of a community where those conversations happen every day.
